Need info on source and part # for rebuild kit for the trim cylinders on 1987Johnson J150tlcur engine. Thanks for any info.

If you have a local hydraulic shop you can go there. I got every thing I needed from my local shop Benz Hydraulic.

Factory trim hydraulic rebuild kit: 393942. (Does not include the orings for rebuilding the tilt cylinder-sold separately) Should be under $35.

I have a 1988 40 hp Johnson with trim and tilt the kind that mounts outside of frame and brackets to motor I am not sure how this type of unit works I have not installed since haveing cyl rebuilt. It have test run the right cyl goes up and down which is called the tilt cyl the other cyl does not move it has hydro line going into bottom feed line but no return port can anyone tell me how this unit is supposed to work Thanks
