Information on 2000 Starcraft Fishmaster 196

Hi: I've just bought a 2000 Fishmaster 196. The print next to the console toggles has worn away and I'm not sure what they all do, or are supposed to do. Can anyone help? Is there anyone out here with a manual I can copy? Thanks!

It might seem obvious, but I would just turn on each switch and see what accessory comes on. That's what I had to do in mine.

slow96z -- Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it's not quite that easy -- a couple of toggles don't seem to do anything, and to begin troubleshooting it would be helpful to know what it is they're SUPPOSED to do. Any 1999-2000 Fishmaster owners who can help?

not many here with boats as "new" as a mere 11-12 yrs old! :facepalm:

what abt doing it by process of elimination? once you eliminate (and MARK) the known switches, that just leaves the remaining functions that haven't turned on yet. you could go to Radio Slack and get cheap 12v buzzer, then wire to 2 alligator clips, so you can ID when there's power to an accessory lead even if said accessory itself may be on the blink. another approach might be to contact SC....most of our boats are so old they're not much help, but they might have the info for yours, assuming it's still wired per factory setup

I have a 22 ft Holiday a 1975. The wireing was decent but not marked, so I rempved every piece except the cable route to the motor and the Battery. Set a fuse block up front and a grounding block alsol. Replaced all wireing with new and cable wraped it, it is now a complete fused circut and a copy of what is wired to each fuse. a little costly but trouble free or if a problem can reach the panel from the helm seat. No more climbing under the bow to find whaterver is broken. The time and cost is well worth the efficency of doing this.

I'm going to be verifying some wiring in my 98 Aurora tomorrow, give me the colors of the wires in question and I'll see if they match up with the accessories in mine.
