Please I need as much info on this engine as possible.
This engine is going to replace my1991 120hp(force) that I blow last week.

Re: Information

125 hp
25" extra long shaft length
Made for a Bayliner (decals)
1988 model year
Production run "c"

2 cycle engine
50:1 fuel/oil ratio

Keep the old engine, many of the parts are interchangeable.

Re: Information

Thanks for the info
I also need to know if I can use the lower unit from the 1991 120hp. the lower on the 125 has a broken piece.
I noticed that the water inlet in the 125 is different and i'm wondering if the internals are different other wise they look the same.
Thanks again

Re: Information

Sorry, not sure.
One may have dual exhaust, and one may have a 2 piece driveshaft.
Probably have to pull them off and try it.

eross, no kit available.
one guy was putting a kit together and selling it on ebay, don't know if he still is or not.
You will likely have to try to find them at a hardware store or hydraulic repair shop.
Try a forklift repair shop.
