Ingition Switch

I found a ingition switch on-line with the same looking key (looks like a pear) I' m @ work offshore so i can't check mind out to see the connecters inside my control panel will fit..<br />but the engine is a 1979 85Hp Evinrude with the factory control panel , the one that had the throttle & ingition switch on the mounted panel..<br />all i really need is another key but can't find it so I figured i'll just change the hold part

Looking directly at the face of the area where the key would be inserted is a number.<br /><br />What is it? I probably have a key for it.

I'm offshore @ work & i'm sure my wife will take a week to locate the numbers for me, can I send you a close-up picture of the key

I assumed that you didn't have the key. The key also has that number on it. What is it.

It is a 90Deg pear looking key with the numbers 22 on one side and POLLAK BOSTON on the other
