Initial settings for idle adjustment screws

I have a 1984 OMC With a chevy 305 and a 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet carbuerator. Can anyone help me with how many turns out I should be after seating the screws for my intitial adjustment. <br /><br />Or, if anyone knows where I might go to find that information. Boat runs like a champ I just have an idling problem.....<br /><br />Thanks....

A turn, to a turn,+ 1/2 will get it running........

Bondo,I had check out that link,when it says to adjust the "air screw" ,are they talking about the screw that adjusts on the throttle linkage?

I think they are referring to the idle adjustment stop screw as you stated on the throttle linkage.
