I am looking to send my injectors in to be cleaned. should I send them in to be cleaned/filter replaced or is this something one could do on thier own? If this can be done on my own with out sending them to a shop to be done where should I start and how to do it?

Thanks

My dad had a bad injector on his blazer a few months back and before replacing it, the shop soaked it in injector cleaner over night to see if it would free up the varnish. I would think you could do the same, as I imagine that's what they will do if you send them in.

Its cheaper to send them off and have cleaned, flowed and balanced as you cannot clean the pintle without applying voltage to injector to withdraw it. Send to Tony and Linda @ Brucatosvs.com.....

Fazt,

Thank you, this is where I was thinking about sending them http://fuelinjectorman.com/ and the cost would be $16 each vice $25 each. now I have never dealt with either but at 9 bucks each 54 total. what makes brucatosvs better. I am all for spending the money if there is something better for my boat, but I can not find that much differance between the 2 other than one replaces the O-rings and the other does not? which ever one I do send them to what is the best way to remove them, and would you install new reeds?

Thank you again.
