Inlet/exhaust manifrold on a 3.ol

hi, im just a bout to put the head back on my 1988 mercruiser 3.0l after replacing a burnt valve. would it be advisable to use formaGasket / silocone along with the new manifold gasket..??

Ayuh,.....

Good, Clean, Smooth gasket surfaces,+ a Fresh Dry Gasket beat a wad of Goop anyday.............
