I am looking for a 50 AMP inline fuse holder for my 24V trolling motor setup. I am using 6 AWG wire. Does anyone have an idea where I can find one? Thanks for the time.

Re: Inline Fuse

Any department or discount store that sells auto parts would probably have them but why not use an auto reset circuit breaker for about six bucks.

I could do that. I am having trouble finding anything in that size though, 6 gauge. Where would you recommend?

Re: Inline Fuse

40 and 50A circuit breakers are found in the fishing/boating section of nearly every discount or farm store. Right here on iBoats, Cabelas, Bass Pro, and other sporting goods outlets have them. The do not have wires attached. One end fastens to the screw terminal on the battery. The ring terminal on the trolling motor attaches to the screw terminal on the circuit breaker. No wires involved.

#6 and #8 awg are common wire sizes for trolling motors wiring.

Re: Inline Fuse

Appreciate the help. I did end up finding what I needed at Cabela?s. Last time I was out there the shelf was empty. Thanks again!
