Has anyone rebuilt strigers in a w/a with a inner liner ? did you remove inner liner or cut it and repair the cut out pieces of the liner cut to gain access to stringers? It is a 22ft I am working on.

Re: inner liner on walk around

I have taken apart a 16' and 18' Donzi to change out bow mounted fuel tanks

The deck and liner were all one piece it was not that bad because of the boat lift rings installed in the bow and stern that were strong enough to hoist it on the garage beams

At least on the Donzi cutting it apart was NOT and option

Blinkin, If you do decide to seperate the molded pieces, make sure to support the top cap properly. I understand that they can be fragile.

Thanks for the input mine looks like alot more work the top of the cabin is 8.5ft off the ground my barn is only 12ft tall . the liner drops down in the hull at least 2.5ft. I have seen some pics on boats in the 28ft range where they cut the liner repaired the stinger and then repaired the liner.
