Insect plugged my tell tale on my 2013 Mercury 60hp efi outboard

I want to remove my tell tale fitting and I don't want to break it, I cant figure out how it is properly removed.

Welcome aboard.

No need to remove the fitting or anything. Insert a piece of heavy weed whacker line or wire in the fitting and work it in and out a few times as far as it will go. Start up the motor and watch the bugs or mud fly out.
