Is there anyone that could look at a boat for me near Milwaukee.

There is a boat that seems to be what I am looking for and I would like to get a set of unbiased eyes on it before I make the 5 hr drive over to see it myself.

If you saw my post last week about the buyers market you will know I have been trying to find a nice boat for a while.

This boat meets my latest criteria but is a little high on price.

It is in Wind Lake, WI which is a little SW of Milwaukee. I would be so gracious to anyone that is willing to take a general look at it for me.

If anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks.

It is a 2000 Four Winns 180 Horizon with a 175 HP Evinrude. So nothing too big or anything.

Wow, you don't usually see a boat like that with an outboard. Sounds awesome. That should fly.

Re: Inspect a boat Near Milwaukee??

I need to thank windors03Cobra publically for going to look at this boat for me. While I can say that the boat is what I am looking for, this particular one was beat to heck. The seller was unable to produce decent photos of anything other than a few overall interior shots and the tiny craigslist pictures of the outside. Now I know why.

w03c was able to take 60 or so pictures of every angle of the boat. The outside was in rough shape. The boat was abused and neglected and put away wet. It's too bad b/c the boat could have been really nice. For the price the seller was demanding I was pretty sure it was going to be nice. Just goes to show that you need to see things for your self...or have someone you trust take a look for you.

So the search continues for a 17-18 foot Four Winns with an outboard continues.

Thanks again w03c.
