installed new teleflex control cables.... now what?

new throttle and shift cables for my 1976 merc 1150. works real nice. question is do i need to lube them with anything prior to use, such as break in or what not? i know this sounds stupid, but im new. thanks<br /><br />m ikey

They're prelubed from factory so normal maintenance and cleaning should do.
