Installing a Carb

Installing a reman carb on 4.3l mercrusier. Any problems I should be aware of?Suggestions will be appreciated.

Pretty straight forward, all the specs are in the manual.

When you take off the old one be sure to look at all the linkage and the return spring so your familier with it when you reinstall. Also if removing old one, dont tip it too much as gas may come back all over you or the engine. Other then that, ditto to the "pretty straight forward" quote above.

PS Be sure to use a new carb to manifold gasket with NO sealant.

Take cell phone pictures of both sides so you know what goes where. Nothing more frustrating than ending up with extra parts or stuff that doesn't seem to fit.
