installing a sending unit in a portable tank?

Is it ok to install a sending unit into a portable tempo tank? I assume I would just drill a hole and insert, is this ok?

Hi Burr, You can use a Tempo fuel sender or a Centroid inductive type http://www.centroidproducts.com/data.htm . Either way, you'll need a backing plate for the sender. See "fls-u" @ bottom of page. http://www.wemausa.com/tank_sensors/tank_level_sensors.htm Good Luck, Pete
