i just obtained a 27' bayliner windshield that just so happens to fit my 2150 perfectly (confusingly enough, mine did not come with one).

all i have is the window frame, no rubber/plastic spacer molding to go between the window frame and fiberglass.

do i need one or should i mount it directly on the fiberglass? what should i use if i do need the molding?

thanks.

Re: installing boat windshield

If it fits that well..then you only need to bed the screws.

You could dry fit with the screws..take it off..and put some weather strip under your frame ..then bed the screw holes and mount.

The cover strip for your shield mount can be be bought..Im assuming its a Taylor Made shield...
