Getting ready to remove my old carpet from my Skeeter and will work on getting the carpet put in this spring once it warms up. But before I go forward I had some questions on laying the carpet, as I have never done a project like this. For the most part my Skeeter shouldnt be too bad, as the layout of my SS90 is basically the decks, but my floor and single console have me nervous when laying and cutting the carpet. I realize for the decks I will need to lay the carpet in excess over the edges and cut to shape of the decks, but for the actual floor of the boat I have alot of nooks and crannies and is not so easy as compared to the decks.
Question:
* Do you when carpeting the decks you use one piece of carpet and how do you cut out the areas where storage are?
* What is the best way to cut to shape on decks and floors?
Any reccomendations on carpet, 20oz or 24oz?
Again new to this so any help would be awesome
