installing new ign switch OMC 90

Bought a Sierra MP41000 to replace switch on 1984 Johnson binnacle ignition switch, Lost the key to the old switch, read a partial post that scared bejezus out of me said this switch would feed wrong voltage to power packs.
Hope I didn't fry them.
So far.
Choke works
starter works
Popped it over,, disconnected battery immediately.
I think i attached all the wires where they are supposed to go. B S C 2 M's but Used "A" for I

Looks like i have a stray kill switch wire, May have dropped it while switching wires over. Three wires come of of KS one is loose.
Any help or diagrams or pictures

Wow is that hard to read. Hard to tell what color goes with what graphic. Any idea if the sierra will work?

Black/yellow stripe wire goes to termial M. Black ground goes to other termial M. The kill switch should jumper between the 2 termials. Serch this forum color diagram posted at least a dozen times.

kill has three wires, one is one M one goes to harness,
Does the other go to the other M?
Guess it won't kill if disconnected from one M.
Do you know of a voltage problem sending voltage( see first message in post) the wrong way on this Sierra. or was it a bogus post??

After all wires are connected, key on, check for voltage on the black/yellow wire. Meter + to black/yellow - to other M termial black wire. This wire shoul go back to engine and grounded on block. Switch should be fine if wires connected. To late to dig out book. Will post a diagram tomorrow afternoon. I`m in Milton Florida close to Navarre beach.

two blacks and one black with white stripes,
One Blk is attached to M term..
One Blk is Loose
Black w/ white stripes goes to engine harness from kill.

Read somewhere that early Milton's settlers got scratched by blackberry briars, thus Scratch Ankle guess Milton was "Mill Town" Saw mill maybe??

The switch with the 3 wires is for a twin engine setup. just tape the loose one. Harbour Freight had free ones if you buy 50.00 tools, in Pensacola. Meters that is.

Look at the last schematic, connect the two black wires together on the same "M" terminal.

The diagram shows one blk wire to ground group and one blk/stripe to switch terminal with a second blk/stripe going to the round do hicky.
Mine has blk to switch M term and striped one going to harness, back to engine, and loose dangling. does the loose one need to be on the separate M term??

Look at this. You could put the loose black wire on the control box ground screw,
