I have a 1997 Force 120 hp. The original ignition switch (I assume it is original to the boat) has 10 wires:
2 purple
2 black & yellow
2 black
1 red
1 red & purple
1 yellow & black
1 yellow & red
the new switch I purchased only has 6 wires:
1 purple
1 black & yellow
1 black
1 red
1 yellow & black
1 yellow & red
no red & purple
I assume when you have 2 wires colored the same, you just connect them together ? What happens when 1 color is missing (red & purple)
? Any help is appreciated.
