I've got my deck all ready for the new vinyl flooring. Once I start to put everything back together, should I put caulk between the vinyl and the perimeter aluminum trim? I would think it would help keep the edge of the wood from getting wet and help keep the vinyl from loosening up.
Also, I was thinking of shimming the seats up just a bit with rail risers to help air flow and to be able to hose under the seats. Any advice?
Thanks!

Definitely put a little space under the seats to let the water flow. Some furtniture already have "feet" on them that raise it enough. Doesn't take much. Also put risers under the fences as well. Its great when the water just drain right on through. I power wash and scrub my vinyl and it just flows right out the back of the boat.

My boat is a little unusual as the seating isn't mounted to the floor at all so I can just move it for cleaning. Thats the way it was built and the furniture doesn't move on its own.
