Im working on an alpha one gen II drive, and I can't get the bellows onto the cable. The small end of the bellows is just too damn small, is there a special way to get this on or do you just need to force it on? Also the water pump hose was very dry rotted, and needs replacing is this a pre bent hose, or can you use a regular piece of 3/4" water hose? Thanks for the help once again.

I dunno if the original hose is pre-bent, but the hose that came with my sierra bellows kit was not, and it works fine.

It's supposed to be tight around the shift cable because the small end doesnt use an actual clamp. You can put some soapy water on the cable to help it slide on.

I just went thru the same thing with my alpha 1 Twas a sumbch.. I finally got it but I had to put elec tape on the teeth of a pair of pliers to hold the bellows The elec tape was just to protect the bellows from damage. Put grease on the cable and got it thru. Even this wasnt a great idea , still felt like I could potentially damage bellows But it worked.. Attempt at your own risk BE CAREFULL !!!
I also replaced my water hose.with a Sierra hose. It had a slight curve but I think they all have that You dont want it to chafe your ujoint bellows and wear a hole thru it.
