Installing starter on 4.3 Volvo GL

Hey guys , I have searched the forums looking for this info before bugging you but no luck .... I removed my starter and now have forgot which post that the wires go on the selnoid. I have a yellow with red line and a purple , I do know where the main power cable goes though LOL ! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you are looking at the starter where the wires are connected the yellow one goes on the right and the purple on goes on the left.
