Any idea where the horn on this thing is? I can't find it, and am not sure where or what to look for, I have a broken horn button with no wires and before just buying a horn to wire it, I want to make sure it's not hidden somewhere- It's not on the outside of the console as expected; but I'm not sure where else to look.

Also, for restoring my instrument cluster, Tach and Speedo disconnected atm,- do you have any suggestions for restoring those? Anything strong than contact cleaner to repair the backs of the clusters? I assume, being the previous owner left gaping open holes in the console, that they may only need a good solid cleaning- atm, no current passes through the console other than the separate wired console lighting - which i was also planning on rewiring.

If not, does anyone know where I can find a nice full cluster of working instruments for the Yahama OX66? It would be cool to find a turnkey panel that I can simply connect to the motor, drill it in, and run with it.

Thanks in advance!

Managed to get the tach working, saw less than 5v on the multimeter so I recrimped the + jumper wire coming off the fuel gauge to the tach- it works now- don't know if the speedo is working yet until I take it out, but I'm still seeing less than 5v on the trim gauge, even after this change.

If I put 12v on the signal wire, will the trim gauge move? It's stuck all the way up (top/up) right now and doesn't move when the key goes to accessory position.

Still can't find the horn- I mean, it's got a button, but I can't seem to trace out the wire.

May not have a horn. The button may have been installed but the PO decided to go with a portable can airhorn. Check under the console. Is there a horn grate mounted on the outside? It will be a white or SS oval grille plate approximately 3" x 6".

Finally traced it out, there was a "grill" and some bolts where it USED to be installed- I can tell what happened, the PO removed the horn after it shorted when he broke off the top of the button and water entered the switch and either completed a circuit and made it KEEP going and he fixed it with a hammer--- or more than likely didn't know what he was doing and just ripped the whole thing out.

I've rewired everything horn related with a new switch/button and have an electric horn to fit the grill opening coming from amazon.com.

Thanks :)
