Instrument Panel Overhaul

I have finished the re-build of the instrument panel and wanted to share some pics before/after the job.<br /><br />Any comments/suggestions/advice are welcome!<br /><br /> Tai-Tai Instrument Panel overhaul pics <br /><br /><br />As many of you know, we have replaced the fuel tank and the water tank. I decided to rebuild the electric system of the center console before finishing the last paint layer of the floor. So we are still on the ground <br /><br />I hope we will finish in a week. I will update my "gasoline in bilge" post soon.

Very nice work. Looks like aircraft quality.<br /><br />It sure is nice being able to figure out what is doing what and what goes where!<br /><br />I too am particular about wiring.<br /><br />Again, nice job.

thanks! Yeah, it is great to know the details of all the systems onboard. I feel safe and no stupid problem will ruin a trip !

I'm in the process of creating wiring diagrams of Tai-Tai's systems for future reference.<br /><br />If you want to take a look at the first one, here is the link. I think it can serve as reference for any other simple boat like the Tai-Tai.<br /><br />IMPORTANT: to see the diagram in large (original size) please enter the album (click the cover image of the album, which anyways is the only image at this moment).
