Hey Bud,<br /><br />I see what you mean. How big a space do you have to mount them? The reason I ask is because they will look best if spacing around and between guages is proportional to the space available to mount them. <br /><br />I remember cutting out round paper guages and taping them to dash before marking and cutting the holes in my boat. Because my dash does not have much height, I had to space the larger tach & speedo a little farther apart then I wanted to. I tried to make the space around the small temp guage equal between it and the bottom of the dash, and between it and the other guages. <br /><br />I think the placement of the guages on my dash came out nicely balanced, although the temp might look a bit crowded. I must have spent the better part of an evening moving those paper guages around the dash until I found a layout that both looks nice and is functional.
5.25"x17" and thats it. I love to waste Plywood, you should see the scrap pile!<br /><br />In the now proto type the speed and tach are nice but the fuel and trim are wrong. The trim is not functional, yet.
