Insulation/Weatherproofing livewells.

Where can I purchase the weather stripping used to seal livewells.I have tried some commercial weather stripping but it doesn't keep the water out of a well even with lid closed.
I quite often use the livewell for dry storage and when the stripping is missing as on one of mine, dry storage is out of the question.
I assume the stripping has an adhesive side.If an adhesive is required,what is the best type?
