Fellas, hopefully this is my last question for awhile.
I got a 1970 Johnson 115HP.
I noticed on the parts diagram that there are 4 caps that cover up the slow jets on the intake.
Mine are missing, which means the carbs are pulling air in from the top of plenum near the flywheel, and of course through these four holes which are right infront of the butterflies.
Would this cause me a problem? Will the motor run better with these caps installed? I though maybe....these missing caps are causing an air turbulance and possibly causing me problems or performance.
