im sure alot of engine sare somewhat alike my air intake is at bottom of engine pan on my 62 rudey well had it runnin other day and put cover on and it about died so i pulled the cover and screen then there was a fiberglass type filter in there plugged up can i just leave it out since there is an upside down umbrella looking cover over then screen or do i need to get original packing want to use this weekend. one more thing i noticed it smoked alot runnin in tank now this may clear up a bit after under load in lake can i cut mixture down to 32 to 1 from 24 or not
