Intake manifold 5.0 merc. pinhole

I was cleaning the outside of my intake manifold and noticed what looked like a pinhole in one of the valleys about even with the carb. I finished cleaning and repainted that spot.Should i be concerned???? Charlie

I hope you didn't paint the inside... that'd be a big no-no. Chances are that pinhole is only as deep as you can see and poses no threat unless there's a crack too.

The intake is still on the motor so the outside is what I was painting.I think the pinhole was filled up with the paint so I will just keep a watch on it after the paint dries. Charlie
