I'm thinking about opening up the intake area behind the carbs. I know there's a few out there that have actually done this performance mod. WHere can the old style gaskets be obtained? How deep do you cut the middle section down to? What actual gains are to be had by doing it? I have a couple of spare intakes for my 235 that I'm getting machined by Carson marine. I have heard great things from doing this mod. Just never done it or seen it except in 1 picture.
