Intake water hose

Does anyone know where I can find the intake water hose for a 1987 Omc cobra 4.3 L .......it's 1" diameter ..... I tried 1" heater core hose but think I might have a problem with kinking and restricting the water especialy in a left turn ....

any help would be appriciated ..

I managed to slip a 1"= 45degree copper sweat elbow over mine, using some soap, never to have it kink again at that one particular vulnerable spot.

Using the proper Merc hose and the exact proper length and following the natural curve of the hose keeps them from kinking.

True, but it's an OMC.

I s'pose a Merc hose work work if you can't find an OMC hose,................

Low pressure Hyd. hose might also be an option.......

And,....... I Agree completely,.......
A hose has a pitch, or spine, or natural lay......
Rotating 1 end or the other will do Wonders ............
