interchanging different o/d with different motors

I'm buying a 1997 velocity 220 hull that is bare except the fuel tank, paying $350 (No Title).<br />I also have an opportunity to purchase two older sea ray boats and trailers for $800. One has a mercruiser W/ say 200hp and a mercruiser Out Drive. The other has a Volvo motor with close to 250hp and a volvo O/D. The Volvo motor looks to be in great shape but not the O?D and opposite on the Mercruiser. I want to donate the best combination to the velocity and not sure what is the best combination or can they be interchanged at all?<br /> Thanks for any help

the parts can be mixed and matched but more info would be needed for the experts here to tell what problems there my be matching up the different years and if the merc drive would take the power of the volvo motor<br /><br />also what drive was in the boat before the hole in the back can be a big problem<br /><br />how do you get a title in texas after you do all this work??<br /><br />tommays
