Why is it that my interior or (court lights) as it's labeled on my instrument panel, are not capable of switching on when the the panel lights are on? I hate this, the interior lights are actually on the same switch with the (panel) lights, it's a 3 way rocker switch, the left position is panel lights (dash gauges) center position is off and the right position is interior lights (court) I hate it, someone says hey man can you turn on the lights so we can see, "sure" now I can't see my panel gauges, what were the designers thinking?

You could just add another switch if room allows but I'd try to figure up the current draw for them. That may be why it all ended up on the same switch as if you run them all, you may melt wires. the only other thing I could think of is that if you are cruising at night, you don't want interior lights on as it makes it harder to see. Just a thought....

they could be wired like the running lights, 3 way switch, one position is the stern anchor white light, one is off, the 3rd it switches the bow and stern light on, for night running.
