Hi guys,
I'm rebuilding a 30' Yukon Delta houseboat for someone and we are getting close to interior finish work. The owner wants all white woodwork (they want it "beachy" -- their word not mine.) I will probably use maple and need recommendations on a durable white finish. I have done plenty of white interior house cabinets, and I love using pigmented lacquer for the white with a clear lacquer topcoat and I was hoping for something similar. However, I am concerned that some of the woodwork will be near the windows and exposed to the sun and heat, and I'm not sure how lacquer would hold up.
Any ideas?

Oh, I'm also looking for interior wall paneling and I'm having a hard time locating any locally for some reason. It's the 1/8" plywood with the plastic "wallpaper-ish" texture that I believe comes in 4'X8' sheets that is used for RVs. I have called several RV repair shops around here and they all play dumb like they don't want to tell me what their source is, lol. Are there any good online resources (or if someone happens to know a place to get it in Phoenix)?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Ben
