Weather just broke and I am back to my project.
I painted the hull last year with interlux perfection and was really happy with the results. (see yellow photo) The only trouble I ran into was with the PrimeKote. Real pain to work with and get good results. Lost of extra coats and sanding.
I am now prepping the interior and topsides (whites) and will be using interlux perfection again. I have sanded everything down with 80 grit and the gel coat is in great shape except for a couple minor areas.
I was thinking (hoping really) of skipping the primekote and going straight to perfection. I know the interlux recommends it but I had heard it wasn't necessary if the gel coat was in good shape.
Has anyone tried this and if so what were the results?
Really like your input before I spend the money
