The drain plug hole for my intermediat housing seems to be clogged.
Right now i have the ball gear drive shaft removed to replace the bearings.
My question is does the drain plug hole run streight up into the housing were the bearings ride? Or does it run from some other place?
If it runs streight i should be able to run something up through the hole and have it come out were the bearings ride?

Thanks

What year boat, engine size, style of outdrive? I don't have the answers but those that do will need this info. Build the boat info into your signature and save yourself a lot of typing.

some mechanics wire should clear it regardless of the path it takes. I gotta think it would be straight though.
