I just got off the phone with my mechanic who says my "internal CDI" unit is bad. I am not a mechanic but I am pretty sure my 1985 Force 125 doesn't have an internal cdi unit, do you think he means the stator? He said it's located under the flywheel. he says he had to order one and it cost $267. or does the price sound right for a CDI or Stator? He basically said this part is malfunctioning causing my engine to only run on 2 cyl. I am not questioning my mechanic just cant figure out what part he's talking about. Any ideas? Thanks.
