Hello everyone.

New forum member, old boater with a question.

I just bought a very nice 1989 Amerosport 280 and have to get the fuel gauges working.

The port side gauge sending unit is very easily accessible behind a panel in the cockpit near the companionway, but before I start removing old and possibly sensitive upholstered parts from the helm area, does anyone know how to access the starboard side sending unit?

Also, the tanks (75 gallons each) are independent of each other, and I wonder how far would you all go to get both gauges working (if one is impossible to get to) or settle for one assuming that both engines should be burning similar amounts of fuel?

Thanks in advance.
