Hi Guys,
I've been posting here now and than, but I never really presented my new pride properly. I bought her this spring from some kind of craigslist. Because I couldn't find any make, hull nr or stamp in the boat I considered that there was a risk of buying a non branded boat. So I went for a thorough testdrive and I noticed that the boat handled exeptionally well. So I checked that box. Later I ask the owner to take the boat out of the water a clean in thoroughly, so that I could examine the hull properly. Here again no problems. So I took the plunge and bought her.
I think this boat is partly home built by somebody who fixed the teak woodwork and the rubrail. The risk of buying such a boat turned into having a really unique looking boat.
So the rest of the season I started making the boat better, fixing some dodgy wiring, some panting etc. I unfortunately I soon encountered I problem with the Yamaha 115 V4.
During skiing it suddenly started to run on 3 cylinders, so I prepared for the worse, but fortunately it turned out to be some kind of dirt clogging the carb of one cylinder. Later on my mechanic complemented me with the state of the engine.
This winter I will redo the woodwork and sand it down completely in order to give it some nice new layers of clear lacker.
Enough words, time for pictures..........
Regards,
Peter
