What does a stupid Black Lab + a Custom Boat cover equal? A trip to Target to get some Iron on Patches to repair a few holes.

Will these patches hold up to the weather? I just need them to last me till spring when I can get my cover professionally repaired. They are the Singer brand denim patches. My boat cover is some kind of material other than canvas, looks kinda shiney like satin sheets???

I've uses canvas patches on both canvas and vinyl boat covers and camper awnings. I applied them with contact cement, stayed on for years.

Can't speak for the iron on type.

Ditto Roscoe.

Many iron on CANVAS patches, Then sew around the edges with any sewing machine.

They last. Just ask RyanT, who has console and seat covers that I restored that way.

Good luck. :)

I have the shiney cover also. I just use duct tape.
