This a question for those that brave better than perect weather.
I'm looking at taking my fianc?e out for a transient weekend on the cabin cruiser this weekend.
Water temps are 40, daytime conditions are calm and clear upper 50's, and nightime temps at 38. We will have 50a shore power and water. Would you pack a space heater and think its comfortable?

If you have 50 amps available, bring one of those little cube/baseboard heaters with a blower in it and you will be toasty.

a couple of scented candles, strawberries, chocolate, champagne and a Lou Rawls CD will heat things up better.

We went out yesterday... that's a first for us, for opening day in March! Air temps were 80+ and the water was 69. Op, where you located?

Strawberry Boones Farm and some Twisted Sister bud, now that would be a weekend!

Just plan on it being cool and dress accordingly, certainly a heater and some extra blankets but that shouldn't be too bad, sounds like a fun weekend as long as she know in advance what she is walking into.

I'm out of Portland, CT on the Connecticut River. We will probably head to Chester or might just stay there.

It's not about any of the beard-wearing, swash-buckling gentlemen on this forum...it's about the fiance. Does she wear diamond earings and makeup? Does she ever go camping? Is roughing it staying at a regular Marriott or Shereton?

If she's a regular gal then follow all of the advice previously given. If she's more high maintenance than you'll need more than a small space heater to keep daddy's little treasure warm.

She is absolutely a princess, but she would live in a cardboard box with me.
She's not afraid of roughing it. ;)
