Is a 25hp Mid 90s Force outboard worth fixing

I have a option on a old wood boat that needs major repair. Normally not worth my time, easier to build a new one, however this boat does have a 25hp Gamefisher outboard. Someone said it was made by Eska, but I thought the gamefisher was made by Force.

I have attempted to attach a picture of the outboard.

SO..... Any thoughts? Were these engines plagued with problems, or maybe they were sleepers like my 7.5 Chrysler. (which I think is one of the best small engines made). I figured it least carbs on this 25 will have to be cleaned.

Input?

Thanks

This is a relatively rare Force, made by Mercury, 25 hp, 3 cylinder motor. Not many around, I have only ever seen one.

Always wanted to pick one up to play with. Only one I ever ran across that was for sale, was 1000 miles away and way overpriced.

Another bump up,

I have to go look at the boat by Wed, and was hoping to get some input into the engine before that. Anyone out there with experiance with the force 25hp engine?

Thanks

Judging by the research i've done it is a force engine. They were made from 87-96. Sears sold gamefisher from 68-87 made by eska and I checked the hp they made and none of them were near 25hp. Force had a 25hp 3cyl. matching your year range.
