Is a Volvo Penta 275 interchangeable with a 280?

I have a Bayliner with a chevy 305 and a Volvo Penta 275 outdrive. I found an old junk boat with a Volvo Penta 280 outdrive and was wondering if the 280 would work as a spare outdrive for my 275 should anything ever happen to it??? Would I be able to unbolt the 275 from the transom and bolt up the 280 in it's place?
Thanks in advance for any responces. I'm a decent mechanic and electrician but new to boating and I'm not sure what will work with what?????

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,...
I don't do Volvos, but I'll bump this to the top for another go around though...

Possibly interchangable. IF the 275 has the same type 2 bolt pin that holds the helmet in place, and the splines are the same on the ujoint shaft, and the gear ratio is the same, then it should work.
