Is boat to small for this?

I have a 12' flat bottom john boat. My 15 hp motor was stolen last weekend. I have a 25 hp evinrude with tiller handle. Would this be too much motor for this boat?<br /><br />Suzuki40

errrrrrrr i hate to hear stuff like that yes i would say that the 25 is too big for that boat.u might find some 1 to trade you if you want to do somthing like that. but that boat would be dangerous with a 25 hp on it

You are asking the same guys the same question, so you will get the same answers.<br /><br />Your boat is rated for 20HP. Trade your engine for a 20 or your boat for one rated for 25 or more hp.<br /><br />Good luck.
