Is Club Jeppesen worth the $$ ?

I'm looking at joining Club Jeppesen. $89.00 a year for free chart updates. The question is whether it's actuall worth it... Since I use only the Lake Ontario bathymetric chart chip in my SH 390i plotter, I question how often it's updated (by anyone). It may well be a waste of money... or it may be a great savings...

Has anyone on the Great Lakes tried the Club updates? If so, good or bad experiences? Worth the money?
