Is duplex wire worth it?

Ok... So I am rewiring my boat completely and right now I am looking at 16 ga to run throughout. In looking on eBay, I can find both loose wire and duplex wire. I'm trying to determine if the duplex is worth It... IMHO it is, but when wiring up everything underneath, gauges, switches, negative bus, etc. will it be more of a pain stretching them between the two places? Just asking for some opinions... All are welcome!

Duplex doesn't come in many colors, so I wouldn't use it solely for rewiring the entire boat. Stick to the marine color code for wiring it up and things will be easier to figure out in the future. genuinedealz is a good place to buy marine wiring, in different colors, though, they don't have wire with colored tracers....

When I rewired my boat, I used duplex, primary and zip wire to get the color combinations I needed. (re-used color coded zip wire that the manufacturer used, no idea where they got it from...)
