I never have to use the choke on my 45HP Chrysler outboard when I start it? I gave the carb a cleaning because it would start and die. (sat up for awhile). The motor just always cranks right up and runs like a champ.

Brian,<br /><br />It's probably running a bit rich, but that won't hurt it.

I've got the mixture screew set at 1 and half turns out. It ran good so I didnt mess with it..

Sounds like your bragging. Im glad you have a good running motor. Just keep up with your regular maintenance and it will stay that way.
