is it worth converting my 1970 Evinrude 25HP from pull start to electric?

I had some concerns about not being able to start my engine quickly in case I started getting swept out into the ocean. The engine has been very well maintained, and it starts up readily. I'd like to keep the cord as a back up and convert over to key start, as I am not a Spring chicken anymore! Any thoughts? Any thoughts on going with used as oppposed to new?
Thanks in advance.

"Back in the day" as a kid I had several 25s over the years. Yes, they all started with about 1' pull on the rope but it's still easier to push the button. Your only regret will be not doing it sooner.
