just purchased 12' pro marine inflatable boat/dinghy from ebay and just put in the 4 piece wood floor with much difficulty(which i knew it would). i believe the floor might be defective b/c the keel valve is half visible through the cut out hole on v-floor board, the other half is under the floor toward the TRANSOM, very difficult to reach valve. there is no room whatsoever to move floor back toward transom it already butts up against it. also where the seat sits on the boat there is a strap on the floor board that should directly under the seat to secure it but the strap on the floor is about 5-7 inches in front of seat which i am unable to secure. i have contacted seller and he told me it might be a miss cut on floor but now will not call me back. the boat is about 85% inflated would it help any if it was totally inflated???? this is a brand new boat...PLEASE HELP....

Just a thought, try letting all the air out and starting over. Maybe...

Yeah, the only thing to do is fully inflate the thing and see what happens. Stuff usually moves around quite a bit as you reach full inflation pressure. But, if you can't reach the keel valve to inflate it, that's a problem. It could be a poor cut on the floor boards.

Keels are usually attached to the floor by glued flaps that allow them to move around. Pull the boards back out of the boat and start over. When you put in the bow board, pull, push and prod the keel valve into position at the the hole before you add the rest of the boards. If that doesn't do it....Then the board is drilled wrong.

You are suppose to insert the floorboards with the boat 50% inflated, knock the boards in snug with a rubber hammer, then inflate it 100% .... If it is really not matching up take the boat back and get them to give you a new one ... ideally they should assemble it there so you can see it all fits perfectly ....
