Is my motor missing something?

This is a 1972 40202E 40 HP. I purchased. There seems to be some wiring missing. I think someone "borrowed" a harness?!?! Also, the third picture shows the wiring harness that comes from the dash. I find no place on this motor to plug this in ( hence why I think something is missing). I also have no idea where all the wires go. Most are "capped off".

Is there a harness for this?
Anything else you can yell me when looking at the pictures would be appreciated. Maybe something else I'm missing!

It looks like some one has pieced togeather a harness, below is the wiring for your model number.

Picture #3 almost looks like the voltage regulator connector used on older engines.
