I have the 79 Evinrude 115hp. I did the resistance test on my starboard side sensor coil and I got an infinite resistance in between both terminal a and b and a and c. I tested the port side and I got the correct readings. My motor runs the only problem I'm having is that after running the motor for a while I can only go at about half throttle. If I try to go past half throttle the motor bogs down and if I keep it past half throttle it dies. Could this be the problem? Should I replace it or could I fix the part? I'm thinking its a broken wire because I got an infinite resistance instead of the correct reading of between 30-50 ohms.
